Finally Drove A Newmar (& Comfort Drive)

Test drove a 2015 4369 and also an Entegra Cornerstone.

Having had two DP's , I have my own point of reference and while these two coaches could be said to be in two different leagues (not by me), I must say, both I and my wife both came away with the same assessment.

First the Comfort Drive is what everyone here has said they are. In windy conditions both on Freeway and two lane desert roads, it was a terrific addition to an already great riding coach.

Had heard everyone say that the more expensive Cornerstone was the quietest best riding coach in the market. Maybe to someone else, but all around this particular DS was 1. Quieter, 2. smoother on the acceleration 2. more firm and lighter touch on the brakes and overall handled much better.
My wife even said, why would you pay much more for something else.
Maybe that says it in a nutshell. Yes there were some nice things on the Cornerstone, but this next coach is going to be about the drive/ride experience for me and I think this one did that.

Cudo's to all who have echoed similar commentary!

Love that DS!!!!!!

We're staying down in Keene TX and spent some time looking at coaches yesterday.

I now understand what Zman has been saying about Entegra.

It's terrible what has become of Monaco.

Somebody at Foretravel should be slapped for that Realm.

Reaffirmed we made the right choice.

Except that shower! The realm has the best shower ever!

I agree with PDR John. The wiring that was left exposed on the entegra and realm was just shocking.
For some reason the realm decided that the main electrical breaker box needs to be under the master bed! It is the worst design I have ever seen.

That was more of a four person shower.

A four-person shower could be a lot of fun for two.

While we've enjoyed our Newmar's, it a shame that Monaco is no longer what it once was, they added so many choices to pick from. Very surprised to hear that the Realm wiring is a mess, must be a complete departure from their normal MFG process, the IH-45 wiring is very clean and neat.

Glad you had a great experience with the DS test drive. Newmar makes a great product and we love our older DS. Best of luck and thanks for sharing your experiences.

Thanks for sharing your experiences witth us. I would not trade my Dutch Star except for another Dutch Star, Essex or King Aire.
