First Outing

Getting ready to take the CS 3755 out for a spin or should I say her inaugural first quick trip before winterizing. We would like to go to Eastern TN (Gatlinburg, Smokey Mtns, etc...) Anyone have any suggestions for a nice RV park and area to visit for a long weekend and first trip with the coach? Trying to avoid narrow roads and difficult parks to get into since we're new at this..........
Thanks

I like
River Plantation RV Resort
1004 Parkway
Sevierville, TN 37862
(800) 758-5267
Lat, Lon: 35.85151, -83.56942
It is a very nice park for long or short time visits. May be further west than you planned. (Note Garmin GPS will lead you astray at the entrance get verbal from host)

If you like more rustic settings by lakes, try the TVA Campgrounds. There are a couple in eastern TN that have waterfront sites with water and electric, some even with sewer.

Not familiar with that exact area's CG's. If I was taking my maiden voyage I would probably grab a Trucker's Atlas plus download RVParky. You can use the Trucker's Atlas to check your route for low overpasses and other issues. The RVParky app is great for looking up different campgrounds in a certain area.

Have fun on your first adventure with the coach!
