Fisher Paykel dish drawer
Hi to all
Hope everyone is staying safe and Healthy
My question to you all is
I have a fisher paykel dish drawer DD6031
The drawer will not fully close so unable to lock it
The drawer fits proper at the top but sits out at the bottom over an inch I have opened drawer and looked under it does not seem to be anything in is way
Just wonder if anyone else has had this problem how to fix it and where to get the parts
I have power to the drawer and all buttons work
Thanks in advance

Here is a link to the service manual. The link opens to the page for removing the drawer. I’m wondering if the drawer is off the track and if removing and re-installing the drawer will resolve the problem. Just a thought.

If I recall you can pull the drawer completely out - suggest you have some to set it on as it will still be attached, needs to be right height and able to slide under it right away.
Could be off the track or something has shifted not allowing it to slide back in fully - use the manual in above post to get more info.
Best of Luck,

The same thoughts come to mind as above. Either it's off the track or the track is adjustable and has moved.
The above instructions show a slide rail that sounds like it clips in. It may have jumped out of position.

That front door is easy to ding. I would cut a piece of cardboard and tape it over the front, before you start working on it.

I install those, and it's likely that some of the hoses behind it got out of place and are stopping it from going back. There's a big piece of wire that holds the hoses up, and if the original installer didn't get it installed just right, sometimes it'll be hit-and-miss on whether it will close. By the way, it could also be some insulation on the side panels is sticking out, bunched up, and is stopping it. You have to make sure that's all tucked in where it belongs, and be very careful about your fingers, because the metal cutouts inside are razor sharp, don't ask how I know.
To remove the door you push in a little clip on each side of the front of each rail, then slide it back as you hang on to the drawer, then you pull the drawer out and you need to turn it sideways and set it on the ground. Or if you have something like a platform you can set it on, that will work as well. But just my humble opinion, if someone gave me a free Fisher Paykel, I wouldn't install it in my home. Have just seen too many problems with them, they're very finicky.
