Fishing wire

I am trying to install a remote read-out for my surge protector. I would like to install it at the breaker box area (located in. Bathroom). I need to run a wire (com. Cable) from power bay to breaker box. I tried to run it thru the ceiling . This did not. Work. I should of stated that the unit is a dsdp, model 4023, 2005. Power bay is at far left corner, then the rear wheel well, then the wet bay with the half bath above it (this is where the breaker box is located . Has anyone done this? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. Roger

Can you follow the existing bundle of Romex (120v cable) from down below up to the breaker box? They had to get that Romex in there somehow. Find existing wire and follow that.

Fishing wire

Cruzbill*** the bundle of Remax, plus a bundle of. 12 v wire, is fed into the top of breaker box. I removed a light fixture and a speaker in bedroom and cannot locate these wires. I am sure they are there somewhere. Now I am entertaining the possibility of coming up through the wet bay. Thanks “””Roger

Look around for a removable panel, under the sink, behind the toilet. Behind a mirror, all places to look for a wire chase.

Yes. It sounds like you are on the right track. Maybe you can go from the bottom, back corner of the power bin, the over to the "wet" bin, them up.

The most critical problem is the "going up" part. There you will need to use your Superman powers and use your X-RAY VISION, to make sure you don't hit any electric lines, water lines, hydraulic lines, mice nest, etc.

Good Luck! May the SUPER force be with you!

Most wiring is in the radius curve on top of sidewall and roof the length of coach on both sides.
You should plan on drilling down into compartment below than back up to location for indicator.
Some have installed in the overhead cabinet or a interior wall next to fridge wall or bathroom wall.or in cabinet in bathroom, when drilling through floor only drill floor than check the space in floor space for any obstruction if non then continue drilling into compartment below.

Fishing wire

Yep, I am going to take the low road, going out the power compartment, into wet bay, up into where furnace and residential fridge is and fish wire up wall to where breaker box is mounted on other side of that wall. Will be out of town over New Years but will report back on return. Thanks everyone for your help. 007, makes sense that bulk of wires are located in the radius area.”””””Roger
