Fixing the Doghouse
Discovered that the front of the doghouse on our 3401 Baystar is not screwed down at all. Just "floating" there. I want to attach it more solidly, but wonder if anyone has any specific ideas. Seems like if I just screw it down, it will be hard to find those holes again in the future if removed. Any ideas appreciated, at least I'm not in the doghouse this time!

How about using some 1/4 inch fender washers and #10 screws. Push down on the doghouse with your knee as you drill the holes and use an awl to find the holes in the future.
Happy Glamping.

After reading your post I decided to do what you suggested. Just finished, it was a piece of cake and one more item off the list. Thanks!

I have the same issue and a related metallic rattle at high rpms. Goes away when passenger puts their foot on the front top area of the doghouse. On the punch list at factory apppontment next week. Will report back on the "factory" fix.

Drilled two holes, inserted two screws, snug as can be!

That's odd my doghouse has a set of angled metal that fit under the forwar section and then the two latches that pivot in on the rear, super snug from the factory wonder why that's missing.
