Floor heat with slides in

Can you use the floor heating system with all the slides in?

I don't see why you couldn't. The slides on your year model are not heated. The only concern could be where the FWS rollers sit, but there are portions of some floor where furniture sits and doesn't affect the operation.

Since we are heading to cold weather for Christmas I am curious about the same question. I just check my owner's manual and there is no warnings or comments on slides in or out.

You can operate them with the slides in. But it’s going to super heat the bottom of the rooms since you will be covering the floor. I wouldn’t recommend it as it will heat your mat hotter than it should be. I would turn it on when you get an hour away from your destination. You can use the oasis to provide heat while driving. Will have to run the genset for the floor heat to work.

Good to know Bobby, I have been running them with the slides in but never thought about things over heating as I figured they were on a thermostate. Even on low the keep the floors nice and toasty. The wife loves it.

The floor heat has no thermostat, they are on a timer, the higher the setting the longer the on time.

I don't have the same brand of coach so there might be a difference, but I do have electric floor heat and the floor heat thermostat for the front is in the floor straight out from the 1/2 bath according to my 120V electrical drawings. If I watch the amp draw when the floor comes on, it draws the full 8A until the floor reaches the thermostat setting, then cycles as needed.

I don't think there's any slide floors that are sandwiched to tightly to the floors that there would be any heating problems if run on a lower setting. I do think you would need to run the generator since I doubt the floor is powered through the inverter, but I've never tried this connection.
