Fogged Vent Window Replacement

I have a 2016 4369 Dutch Star with a fogged vent window. The coach is a recent purchase for me and I realized that the window seal had failed when I bought it knowing I would contact Newmar and have them send me a replacement. I have the replacement now and wonder if anyone else has replaced a window like this? It looks like two bottom rivets have to be drilled out and the knob removed to free up the mechanism to replace the glass, can anyone verify that or share their experience doing the job?

Has anyone had luck getting Newmar to cover the cost of the window even though the coach is out of warranty? To have a window seal fail in only a couple of years is a bit concerning and costly at $242 dollars.

I know back in 2010 - 2013 or so they had an issue with Wern windows and were offering discounts or even free replacement. In my 2011 before I bought it, the dealer had to replace two vent and one driver side window as part of the deal because of fogging ! Now my co-pilot seat window is fogging to the point it looks like cr** . ! So I will be calling Newmar CS and see if they will be giving me any love !
