Foggy Windows

I have a 2013 DS with foggy DS and PS windows and it can make it difficult to drive at times.

I have watched several YT videos and they seem to show the only way to fix it is to take the window out and separate it, clean it and put it all back together.

Seems like a tremendous amount of work and maybe dangerous.

Is there another alternative out there?

No alternatives that I've found... And I've been researching for couple of years

I had one side done at Quartzite last year but the guys did a terrible job.... I normally don't criticize a business but this job was careless, sloppy and unacceptable...and not cheap

$100 per pane!!! (that's 200 for one complete sliding window)

I guess it could be dangerous.. Common sense..Work safely with care and patience

I just ordered the supplies to do my other side myself.

Several youtubes regarding rv dual pane glass r+r

HIre them repaired.
OTOH there are many past threads about repairing them themselves. If you do decide to DIY, there are several website that sell the necessary supplies and parts.

If you decide to hire them repaired, Suncoast Designers have had many glowing reports posted to various RVing websites. There are many RV window repair business', mostly East of the Mississippi river.

I did 3 of my windows myself ~6 years ago. The large drivers side window with the slider was harder, mostly due to the size. Taking it out and putting it back by myself gave me a work out.

On our 2013 DS, we had the driver window, the door window and the smaller window by the passenger seat done at Suncoast designers. They remove the window, break it down, clean it and reassemble it and run it thru an oven to bake/seal it, then reinstall .
Might want to take a trip to FL to get it done, or, they will allow you to take the windows out yourself and ship to them. The repaired windows have a lifetime warranty.

Once they fog, the seal is broken and the repair requires removal of the window, sealing, drying and resealing. There are a number of places around the country that will repair the dual pane windows.
