Forward Slide Sound

My living room slide at the end of extension and retraction makes a "pop pop pop" sound three or four times. All nuts on the motor are tight and checked all nuts around the area also. Any thoughts on what it could be?

Most likely the rubber seals popping into place and the end of the cycle...Try wiping them down with Aerospace 303.

Is this a new noise?

Hi wracinti,
Sounds like the transtorque bushing is doing its job. The slide may be trying to come in too far. The transtorque bushing is on the drive shaft coming from the motor. Its' job is to keep the motor from tearing up the drive, slide etc when it does not stop where it is suppose to stop. Could also be the transtorque bushing is out of adjustment and needs adjustment or replacement.
