Once we strategically place a few bags in our coach we have not had a problem with another mouse-rodent in several years now. Locally ranchers & farmers have cleared rodent infestations from barns & vehicles where wiring damage was frequent.
The additional thing we do is to use aluminum refrigeration duct tape (Home Depot or Lowes or refrigeration supply) to tape in the service bay around the water hose & electrical cord to seal them in. This is normally the main entry point. I dump gray & black water ever 6 days & hook the hose up every time...otherwise I clean & drain the hose before storing the hose.
We trapped the mice before & no more!!

Great idea. I will try that with water hose and electrical cord. Have the Fresh Cab. Hopefully, I never pick up another one or two of those buggers again.

Peppermint does not work!!!! Tried it in my house. Does not work.
As to Decon, yes they eat it and become thirsty - like the water pipes in the walls of your coach. That is where they will swell up and die and stink for months and now you have leaky pipes to fix. Stick to the peanut butter and snap traps.

We just had our first one- greeted Dave in the wet bay. Proceeded to meet his maker the next morning thanks to a trap and cheese! No evidence of more (yet). None IN the motorhome, but we have Earl (big grey cat). Going to get some of that cab stuff- I believe they sell it in the office here which probably isn’t a good sign! My only complaint about the trap was dave just threw him on the ground where we had to walk all around it[emoji21]Click image for larger version
