Getting ready to install everything needed to tow our 2018 Grand Cherokee. On the 2019 Dutch Star 43 series floor plans with the Freightliner chassis, what side of the drawbar is the 7 pin plug located? Would like confirmation since I want to install the plug on the same side (off center) of the Jeep. Thanks in advance.

On my 2014 MADP the 7 pin is on the drivers side- standing behind the coach & looking at it that would be on the left side. I believe this is standard on recent model Newmars.
Thanks for the responses everyone! At this point, looks like the passenger side for the new Freightliner chassis. Started work on it yesterday (base plate installed). Next will be the diode wiring of the toad lights and the brake system (including the break away system). Thank goodness for various videos showing installation of the baseplate, Roadmaster wiring system and the Ready Brute Elite brake system setup. The Demco base plate instructions aren't the best in my opinion and the 2018 Grand Cherokee instructions needs updating (called it in).
Would certainly be difficult to DIY w/o the videos. Very challenging even with the videos. Can't crawl around under a vehicle like I used to during my younger years lol...
[QUOTE=Dutch Star Don;4338531]"jrs".....Are you doing the individual diodes or buying the all in one kit that the eTrailer sells. The all one kit is much simpler to use.
Don, I put on the individual diodes via the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit Item # RM-15267. Put it on the Grand Cherokee yesterday. One tip is to leave a bit more space between the diodes and the light assembly when cutting the wires since this would make it easier to reinstall. I also couldn't adhere them together like the one video I used as an aid did. I taped the wires and diodes with electrical tape for protection and potential sound reduction.
