Freightliner Custom Chassis Drivetech setting gauges

I have a 2020 Newmar Dutch Star 4081 on a Freightliner chassis with Drivetech. I have been trying to customize the gauges that show up when I press the gauge button on the steering wheel. I can get into the mode to select the desired gauges, but after going back to the home screen and then hitting the gauge button, none of the customized selections are retained. What am I missing?
Thank you,

You have to hit the OK button to set your selection before exiting.

He's correct. You have to ok or save to keep the settings from reverting.

I have pressed OK. Everything seems set, but once you go out to trip or anything else, you lose the custom settings. The gauges revert back to their original organization.

The only way I have found is you need to cycle the ignition with the gauges displayed, and then they stay. And you can only customize one set of three. I have tried customizing different sets of three and only the last one stays. I have a 2021 VTDP.

Cbennis. You’re correct. After a lot of messing around, the only way that the gauge edits stay customized is to cycle the ignition switch. And then, only one set stays set to the custom settings.

Thank you, Bobby. Once the gauges are set, you have to cycle the ignition switch to off. I have yet to try cycling through the gauge pages with the short cut button to see if the custom set stays or reverts. Driving days get in the way of experimenting.

I have a 22 DS4369 and I have changed and configured the gauge display while underway. Never have had to cycle the ignition. All I do is configure, confirm then OK

Thanks Clemson. That is interesting. I wonder if they've changed the software recently. No customizations would stick once I left the gauges screen. For me, cycling the ignition switch saved one set of customized gauges that have (so far) remained through several starts and stops and cycling through the menu items.
