Freightliner Glass Dash Delamination?

In the last two weeks, a "bubble" has appeared in the lower right corner of my glass dash. It appears to be delamination. Pressing on the glass over the "bubble" has no effect on the appearance.

Has anyone else seen this on their FL glass dash?

Thank you,

I cannot get the forum to add a photo. A link to a photo of this "bubble" is here:

Is there a protective cover over the dash and that's coming loose or is the panel itself failing? That should be covered under your freightliner warranty. I would reach out to your nearest dealer and ask them. If you have extended warranty, they will cover it as well. Reach out to NIRVC service department or your selling dealer for assistance with the extended warranty and repair.

Thank you, Bobby.

There is no protective cover over the glass. It is definitely below the glass. So far, it is not affecting the performance of the dash. I will contact FL. I'd hate to change out the display as it is working fine at this point. There's still 2-3 years left on the FL warranty.

The coach is currently in storage a NIRVC Atlanta.

Have you heard of this from any other FL coach owners with the glass dash?

Thank you again,

I haven't seen this, but we are in the "throw away" age. Nothing is meant to last or be repaired. Only replaced.

That is an unfortunate truth.

I have the same thing in the lower right corner. I hadn't even really given it a second thought, I'm going to call Freightliner about it now.

Thank you again,
Any response or solution from FL? I discover a similar deamination but multiple bubbles in the lower half of screen. All gauges and display function properly but a definite distraction.

I assume (without seeing any pictures) that this is the touch membrane (digitizer) separating a bit from the LCD panel (the "monitor") and getting an air bubble underneath.
If parts are available, there shouldn't be any issue of replacing the screen (monitor with the touch membrane) as that doesn't affect any programming, etc.

Here is a pretty good video of the likely problem and a DIY solution

At about 7min in is the interesting info.
