Freightliner Valor Gen 3 Problem - 2022 Dutch Star

Just picked up my coach from Freightliner after the 4th visit to get the right front tire TPMS Sensor to display on the dash. Still not working. I do not believe it is a sensor problem and neither does Derek at Valor. I purchased the Valor Smart Tool and am able to read the sensor information with it, however it will not display on the dash. All I get is dashed lines, see photo. The other tires, including the tow car display correctly. The Service Center told me Freightliner is aware of the problem but doesn't know what the problem is or has a fix. I've been told to follow up with Gaffney.

Anyone else experience a similar problem? Any suggestions?

Have you had the GenIII software update completed? Have you created an incident number with Newmar? Gaffney is where I would take the coach.

It's not on the newmar side. It is a freightliner issue. I also recommend Gaffney for remedy of the situation. They need to replace the sensor or the receiver. Something is not correct. Tire sensors have been an rv issue for quite some time.

The reason for a Newmar incident number is to ensure Newmar has record of the problem. It is a Freightliner problem, in this owners’ case and Gaffney is the best service center to go to.
