Fresh water dump valve
I have a 1998 Dutch Star 3865 I have looked but unable to find a dump vale for the fresh water tank. Any help would be appreciated.

Mine is in the wet bay behind the water catch tray, almost hidden by the lip of the water catch tray. A tag is located on the back side of the water catch tray to indicate the position.

Ditto, it's a black Plastic Handle that turns 90 degrees I believe. Been a while since I had my 02 Dutch Star. Left Side, very back on the bottom.

Yes, Newmar installs them in a very user-friendly place (not) for a valve many of us use frequently to dump the fresh water tank before storing for several weeks at a time. And it's a "quality" little plastic handled ball valve that strips easily to boot vs a nice big metal handled version that one could get hands on and would last. With a sanicon installed in front of mine, it's almost impossible to get to.
I love my Newmar, but sometimes I wonder if anyone in their engineering dept actually uses the coaches they design and build.

Not sure of the hose ID size but Home Depot would carry an array of ball valves that could work. My favorite would be a Sharkbite valve. Again, would need to know the size first.

GL….. the pic below is the water bay in my 2002 Dutch Star. Lower left, below the 3 inch PVC, stick your hand into that little cutout opening. (Disregard the labeling) You will feel a valve handle. That’s the fresh tank drain. It’s a quarter turn valve, so don’t get too muscular with it!
