Fresh water on Ventana 4369 0%

Well I’ve searched the forums before posting so Ill just go ahead with it. Working on a 2019 Newmar Ventana. First issue was this past weekend elk hunting my hunting partner couldn’t find the patio light switch and turned off the “salesman” house disconnect. Lights wouldn’t come back on he tried multiple times trying to get switch to work. I showed up and said it’s possible the solenoid took a leave of absence lol. I double checked house batteries when I returned home. Cleaned and tightened and replaced solenoid. Now it works as should. Now I have an issue with fresh water tank 100% full yet doesn’t register on monitor. Checked fuse and relay in inverter power cord bay TMSC-100 board. LEDs for gray and black are lit but not fresh led. Checked wet bay removed wet bay panel checked voltage at gray and black sensors got 13 volts. I believe the “Vebus” blue/white has very small amperage and my amp meter won’t pick it up. 0 volts present on solid blue wire for fresh water sensor. I temporarily attached leg from gray water to fresh sensor and she lit up so I am suspecting my board is toast on the fresh water side. Any suggestions or anything I’m missing before forking out 320.00 for a new board?

Thanks
Stan

Just for the heck of it, cycle the salesman switch one more time.

Pull fuse F8 in your half bath. Reinsert to reboot the sensor panel. Report back

Thanks for the suggestions. Tried Salesman Switch and pulled F8 but no glory. Will perform continuity test in morning on ground and blue(fresh water battery voltage) tomorrow morning in meantime have ordered the new board from Newmar

Hit the 12v disconnect switch; wait 10 seconds; turn it on.

Immediately watch the fresh water level. Does it briefly show the correct value, then drop to zero seconds later?

If so; this is the same behavior as my coach.

I’ve found powering up the 12 volt systems with shore power off generally works.

The other solution is to get the KiB touchscreen into diagnostic mode quickly after power up; and on the tank data screen.

My guess is that there is a brief communication hiccup during initialization that causes the fresh water sensor to be powered down (you can observe the power LED for the sensor going from on to off).

I really should call Newmar/KiB but I didn’t raise this during warranty and my workaround seems to work; for now…

The fresh water led never does light up on the board tmsc-100. Battery voltage for that tank isn’t present. I’ve done the disconnect shore power and battery disconnect multiple times. Power up press touch screen 18-20 seconds to get into settings ect.
Still no luck. I think when the battery disconnect solenoid took a crap and wasn’t working properly it sent a surge to the board. That’s the only thing I can imagine as I had zero issues prior to the solenoid going bad. Thanks just the same. Try the new board when it arrives and hope all is well
