Fresh water tank

My 2014 Dutch Star fresh water tank does not calibrate properly. I do not think it has worked since it was new. No matter how much water is in the tank, it always shows 1/3 full. Any ideas for an easy fix on this situation. Thanks!!!!

Look up the maker of the levels panel and see in you can find instructions on calibrating the levels. If all sensors are connected and working, sometimes a potentiometer can be turned to correct levels reporting.

Do you have the Sea Level system or one Newmar use to install.
In QT's #3 there is this for calibration of tanks, best to do when full.
Things about water systems section.

I had my tanks changed from the three level indication probes to the continuous SeeLevel read out system as many other Newmar Owners have done. This is not difficult (as documented in many posts) since for each tank you can reuse a pair of the 6 existing wires that go from the each tank set of tank probes to the readout in the front electronics cabinet. The new SeeLevel sensor strips simply glue to the outside of the tank wall of each tank. Of course you will have to remove the old readout in the electronics cabinet and resize the panel opening to install the new readout.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO REALIZE that the fresh water tank volume below approximately the 17% level IS NOT USABLE. That is because Newmar in their design wisdom has the water outlet leaving the the tank sidewall instead of out of the bottom of the tank. So the pump starts sucking air with about 2 inches of water left in the tank. That is a large percentage of the total tank volume because the tank is shallow, about 12 inches tall if I recall. The tank shape is much longer than it is tall.
