Front latch won't open

Hi,

I have a Ventana 3613 2006 and for some unknown reason, the latch on the front cap accessing the generator won't release. Cable is not broken from what I can see from under but it seems stuck somewhere. Anyone ever face that problem.
Thanks for your help.

With a coat hanger cut make a small loop on one end get under coach near bumper and weach up with hooked wire and pull on the latch pull wire.
The loop of wire from inside pull may have come off the side wall of interior compartment and you lost the pulling power of release, once its opened check why its happening.
Another link to information.

Have someone push on the hood while you pull the lever. Once open, there is typically a cone shaped spring under the hood. It's purpose is to push the hood outward, when you pull the lever. It pushes the hood so it clears the latch. Grab the spring and physically stretch it so that it's longer.

Been there done that.
If the outer sleeve of the cable slides it won't open the latch. Lie down under the center of the front hood, reach up behind bumper & hood and you should be able to activate the release manually. Don't recall if you can actually see the release with a flashlight or have to do it by feel.
Once open, with a helper, you can try to activate with the release handle / cable to see what needs tightening and or adjustment.
