Front passenger side slide will not lock

I have a 2007 Newmar Essex 4508. The front passenger side slide opens and closes, but the lock out will not close and the voice quit working as well? I checked the lights on the circuit board. The top and bottom are solid red during operation. The no indication on the center light. Adjustment or sensor? Any thoughts?

Are you talking about the automatic slide lock for slide.
When water gets into lock with slide open the water will foul up contacts inside so lock does not operate, sometimes it also stops the slide from opening.
In QT's 1 & 2 there is slide info and slide lock information.
Some people have cleaned the locks or just replaced them.

I have the same problem with my front drivers side lock. I spoke to Newmar and they said to try pounding on the locks with a rubber mallet and pound just below the lock but not too hard. If the lock is stuck hitting it with the mallet may unstick it. If the contact are corroded, pounding below the window may shake it enough to allow them to make contact. I tried it but it did not help.

You need the lock closed to start the full auto sequence according to the info and circuit diagrams I received from Newmar. You could have a faulty magnetic switch that indicates the slide is fully in. I am not talking about the magnetic switches on the locks (2 of them) I am talking about the single magnetic switch that detects the slide is within 3/8" of being fully in which will start the lock arms sequence for locking. Once the arms are locked and you press open slide then the voice starts and lock arms open then 5 seconds later the slide starts to move.
