Front Window Insurance Coverage

Recently I was at North Trail getting some warranty work done and I was talking with a customer who was having his front widnshield replaced at his cost $$$$ because his insurance did not cover the replacement. I contacted my insurance company and was told that I was covered under Florida law. I was also told that some insurance policy's don't cover said replacement unless you add that coverage to your policy. The cost of this additional coverage for the year is less than $50.00 added to your policy.

Just throwing it out there for everyone. The replacement cost is very, lets just say big bucks $$$$

Glass replacement is extra coverage for me, Zero deductible for glass only. Every state is different. FL might include it, but does your deductible apply? Bottom line is to read your coverage and ask your agent about your policy details.

I'm getting mine replaced tomorrow. I have a $250 deductible which makes the process a lot less painful.

I had one replaced this year. The cost is minimal for the coverage afforded. I wouldn't be without it.
