From my experience with a 1999 Dutch Star with a 330 Cummins, that about right on MPG. My 400 HP Cummins on my 2005 MADP - pre- DEF- got about 8.2-8.5 MPG as long as I kept it below 1800 RPM.

Got the same coach and engine. You are right on with the MPG. Sometimes a bit more and sometimes a bit less.
