Fuel Rail warranty work

I have been told by the Freightliner Dealer that due to the tag axel on our 4018 they are having a very difficult time accessing the back of the engine and completing the job. How long did it take your dealer to accomplish the task? This sounds like there wasn't much forethought into repairs.

For my MADP w/tag axle it took about 2 hours to complete the job. They actually came to me and did the repair at the campground which was really nice.

The washer at the rear of the fuel rail is accessed by removing the engine access panel from the floor in the rear bathroom. I'm not familiar with your floorplan, but assuming you have the access panel, that's what needs to be done. I'm not sure the tech could have accessed it any other way.

Crazy. Our 4369 was accessed via the inside engine hatch. Took them 4 hours after parts arrived
