Gas fill tube leak

I stopped to top off my tank in my Newmar 2004, 33 foot KS and looked under to see gas dripping along the fill tube between the fill hole and where it enters the tank. I stopped filling and the leak stopped so it must be the tube area leaking. It looks like part of the tube is rubber hose with hose clamps on each end. I am hoping just one of the clamps need tightening.

Has anyone had a similar leak ?

Thanks,
Dave

you well find there is not much room inside the frame and the fuel tank

i found my clamps where never tighten at all and they skipped that step to save time or what every you would like to say

its fun getting up in there

even made a video showing this cut to 2:10 mins in to the video

As your coach ages the rubber fill tube will dry out and become porous causing leaks in the hose or where the metal clamp crimps the hose.
Road salts will help it faster.

I can see a small crack. Since it is not a pressure area for gas I will get some of the gas line pipe thread tape, wrap this over the crack, then some duct tape over it. This should hold until I can replace the rubber gas hose.
