Gen Start Switch

My 2014 Mtn A generator dash switch has failed. Went to cycle my monthly routine, would not activate.
Extended the front and the switch on the generator worked properly. After running the gen for a couple of hours the dash switch would not shut it off. Had to go back out to the front and again that switch worked properly.
Another thing once the gen started from the outside switch, the dash switch has the light illuminated as usual.
Any suggestions?

Isn't there another start switch in the bedroom? Try that & if it works I would think the switch on the dash is bad. If it doesn't work check the settings on the auto start maybe the clock is set to quit time, I lost power once & didn't set the clock & had a heck of a time trying to figure out why my generator wouldn't stay running.

Check your Silverleaf control setting- it may be on Auto-Gen start or quit time thereby disabling the main dash start switch. Also see if the Silverleaf control will start the generator?

Check for a loose wire on the back of switch. Wires can get pulled when building coach and bounced when driving. With switch out check switch for proper electrical function. Sometimes it is just the obvious stuff that isn't always obvious.

Check with the Dealer as your generator should still under warrantee.
