Generac Generator

I have a Generac 75D generator and I was curious if anyone knows who makes the deisel engine in the unit?

Thanks for the reply I agree sound proofing could be better but seems like a good unit only time will tell.

I like my gas generac just fine. I'll get blasted for this but I like it better than my old onan. I have to say kubota made the diesel, but I can't swear to it either. I have 3 cylinder 23hp kubota in my tractor and it's a fine engine. Lets us know if you get an affirmative.

They make most of their gasoline and propane engines themselves, but I don't think that's the case with the diesel unit.

I have the same Generac 75D in my Rexhall. When I had it in the local Cummins shop for a valve adjustment last year they said they ordered the wrong valve cover gasket because they got the wrong one - reportedly two vendors for the engine. If it stops raining today I'll check mine. I do have some Generac manuals that cover the engine if you want them.
