GFCI won’t reset
I was checking the GFCI’s in our 2016 Dutch Star 3736. Everything was operating just fine with no issues. When I hit the test button on the half bath GFCI it tripped but will not reset and has caused my inverter to throw a bridge fault. I do not know what that is. I tried the GFCI above the sink and the same thing happened, it will not reset.
Help!

An "internal bridge fault" means that one of the main semiconductors that performs the voltage-flipping is broken.
Inverters use what's called an "H-bridge" to route the DC currents back-and-forth to create AC.
Have you done a 'Reset'?
6.2 Performing an Inverter Reset
Press and hold the Power ON/OFF pushbutton for approximately fifteen (15) seconds until the Charging/Inverting Status LED comes on and flashes rapidly. Once the rapid flashing has begun, release the Power ON/OFF pushbutton. The Status LED will go off after the pushbutton is released.
After the inverter reset is completed, press the ON/OFF pushbutton to turn the inverter ON.
If reset doesn't work........ remove 12vdc input to the inverter by disconnecting battery cable and reconnect.
GFCI's have to have 120VAC present in order to reset

I just went thru a similar issue with the GFCI in the 1/2 bath not resetting. My issue turned out to be a open neutral in the circuit which was a real pain to track down. Just found it yesterday. However, it looks like yours is inverter based. If you have shore power availability, try it on shore power and see what happens.
BTW, I'm just down the road from you in Apollo Beach !

I have unplugged from power, unhooked house batteries, checked the inverter to see if the fuse popped out. Left all undone for 4 hours. Reconnected the batteries, nothing happened. Reconnected power, same result, GFCI will not reset and inverter panel flashes charging and fault is solid red. Ugh
Yep, not far away. We are just south of Bloomingdale off 301.

When I had some issues with my inverter, I contacted Magnum... Jesse was able to provide good insight as how to proceed.... here's his contact info....

Thank you. I just sent an email. I have tried everything they tell you to do to reset but no luck. Thank you again for the information.

How'd you make out with Helene ? We had a few feet of water in the house so it's pretty much toast. We are now living in the coach for the foreseeable future.

OMG, I am so sorry to hear that about your house.
We did okay considering. We live on the Alafia River and water got up to our foundation at one point but that was the highest.
Our neighbor not so lucky, he got almost 2’ in his house and his septic system backed up into the house too. Very sad.
Prayers that all turns out okay for you. Blessing that you have a place to go. Be safe.

I’ve had 3 Newmar coaches and have had to replace GFCIs in all of them. They either just go bad or are not very good quality. Replacing them isn’t very difficult. Other than replacing them I haven’t had any other issues like wiring problems. So that would be my first option.

We are blessed. No damage to our house. 6’ solid fence between neighbors came down. Amazing amount of tree debris. River came up to about 4’ from the house and is moving like rapids. It is making waves it is moving so fast. We evacuated to Lake City. Worked out great. Small 6 spot RV park called Red Rooster. It is in a small open field with full hookups.
I feel so bad for you. Hopefully no one was hurt during the storm. I am not sure what I can do to help, but I am willing.

Glad you made out without damage. We came back to FL, but are over at Port St. Lucie, staying at a friends lot in an RV resort. We just found out that the power in our "temporary" RV park in Ruskin has been restored, so we will head back over and get back to work . I appreciate the offer, but I have a crew that is supposed to resume work today gutting the house. My goal is to get the house dried out and dry wall up in the next few weeks.... then decide how to finish the interior or maybe sell as is and let the new owner decide how to decorate.
I was over at Lowes on Gib'town drive right after Helene picking up plastic totes and met a lady that lived across from the Beer Shed. She said she had 4' water in the house. I imagine she got hammered with Milton.
