Girard Awning Factory Service Center

During our last outing, someone ran into our drivers side window awning and bent the lead rail and both arms. We live in California so we called the Girard factory in San Clemente Ca. Talked to Bill Park at the service center. Set me up with a Monday appointment and also set us up with a 50A hook up for Sunday night at the service bay. They jumped right on the repair first thing Monday morning. They fixed the damaged window awning and inspected and adjusted the remaining awnings. We were done by 11:45 Monday morning and on the road. What an awesome experience, huge shout out to Girard, their service manager Bill Park and their absolutely professional staff. We truly felt right at home. I would encourage anyone needing repair or service to seek the out if your in the surrounding area.

We were told by a big RV service center we needed to replace one of our Girard awning fabric because it was to stretched to far and had folds in it. Estimate was 1700$. Contacted Girard and said to bring it down and they would look at it. Had 4 Girard works at different times adjusting and lubing all our awning and yes the big awning did take a half hour to adjust. Total charge 175$. Have had Girard awning our our Essex which we had for 14 years and they still were working great and still had the factory fabrics. Did use 303 on the the window and slide out covers.
