Girard awning pre-recall info

This has happened to me twice on my 14 Anthem, both time while ignition was off. G said they had not heard of this happening before and sent me a new controller. Not had any issues in 3 yrs now.

I installed the power cutoff to the awnings to prevent deployment. Never worried about it afterwards.

The false retraction was resolved with a noise filter.

What type of cut off switch did you use and where did you locate? If you have a picture, that would be great!
