Girard Awnings - G2000 vs Nova

Could use some advice concerning the Girard box awnings as I have no experience with them at all.

I'm in the process of finalizing my Dutch Star order and just received the latest retail price sheet which now includes the Nova awnings as an option as well as the G2000. There is a higher cost for the Nova and I have always been told it was the better of the Girard awnings but I really don't know why.

Would appreciate feedback from anyone who can tell me the difference between the two products. It's about a $1,200 premium for the Nova which I don't mind spending if it makes sense.

Thanks for any help!

Scott

The Nova awnings come out and then curl down at the end to give more shade. The g2000 go straight out. Novas are the latest and greatest.

Thanks ZMan. When I first heard that the Dutch Star would be equipped with the Girard awnings I assumed they would be the Nova style. I had heard that the Nova were an excellent awning and then when I saw the specs for the G2000 I was a bit disappointed, although they look like a great awning as well.

I was able to find someone who could give me some help and they recommended I go with the Nova if I could come up with the premium (which actually only worked out to be about $850). So it looks like Nova is the way to go.

Thanks again!

Scott
