Just picked up new 2016 4553 Mountain Aire with the Girard awning package. I had similar package with patio and window awning on my previous coach which were all controlled with the hand held remote. My remote on the new MA only controls the patio awnings. Shouldn't it also work the window awnings?

Welcome to the forum Noel! My DS has Girard patio awnings but manual window awnings so I can't answer that, but someone will be around soon that can. This forum has a wealth of information and great mods to do to make your coach "yours".

Congratulations on your new Mountain Aire. You're going to love it; I know I do.

Your power window awnings are controlled by rocker switches located in the cabinet above the driver's seat, along with your Silver Leaf system. The exception will be the rear bedroom awning. That switch is inside the upper cabinet above the window.

BTW - The remote is exclusively for the dual patio awnings, not the window awnings.
