Good Sam Roadside Assistance Change Names

Just got a renewal for what i thought was my Good Sam's Roadside program, but the e-mail said it is for a plan called Forest River Roadside Assistance Program. Did they switch names or or is this a different company ?? Any thing owned by the Camping World umbrella raises suspicion to me !
Thanks

I would guess that Forest River was trying to trick you into "renewing" a new policy. Looking at goodsam roadside assistance program is still called Goodsam as far as I can see on their web site.

I just got new Good Sam Roadside Assistance Cards in January. They are still active but have changed their offerings. Motorized RVs and your other vehicles coverage now requires Good Sam Platinum Roadside Assistance.

They stopped covering motorized RVs on the base plan for new customers and after current plan renewal. Base plan now only covers towed RVs and the towing vehicle.

If you had a motorized RV on the base plan they will convert you to the Platinum Roadside Assistance at no charge until your current membership expires When it comes time to renew you'll get a renewal for Platinum, at higher annual cost.

I'd check for an account/policy number on it. A renewal should have that number somewhere on it. Personally, If I got a renewal notice that didn't, it would go straight into my shredder.
