Never use it except for a surface to put the Garmin suction cup.

I've had even worse with the Garmin. You have to wonder how the algorithms figure something this stupid. I've had the Garmin take me down a dead end street and tell me I had to walk. Really should have taken a picture of that one! Crazy!

Years ago I was trying to find an RV wrecking yard, the GPS took me through a farmers field, then right back onto the road I had been on. But I did find the wrecking yard.

Our Garmin has taken us through parking lots, thankfully we were in a car.

Make sure you NEVER use the "shortest route" option . . . DAHIK. Several years ago I was towing a 30' boat and it wanted to route me through a housing subdivision!!!

Actually makes sense, apparently you need to turn right onto Expressway 83, go a few miles and make a U-Turn , go a few more miles and turn on to the other road. Apparently you can't make a left from Expressway 83 to the road you need to be on...

Yep my Garmin took me to the wrong side of a town in Alabama for an address. Ended up in a dead end that I had to back up 3 blocks before I could turn around. Oh the fun times of GPS navigating.

The second time, right after an update, it even advised me get on and off exit on the NJ turnpike. Did not bite on that one. LOL. Paper maps are so awesome.
