Guaranty RV apparently has new owners

I learned this morning that Guaranty RV in Junction City, OR is being acquired by Bish RV, headquartered in Idaho. Hopefully, the sterling Newmar service long provided by Guaranty RV will continue under the new ownership. It would be a shame to lose what is arguably the best Newmar service center on the West Coast.

In 2004 I bought my Monaco from Guaranty RV when they had a location in Gilroy, California.

They always had excellent service and sales there. Hope it remains a good RV dealership under the new owners.

At least be thankful that it is not Camping World making the acquisition. It seems that Camping World is buying up a lot of dealerships around the country.

CW is trying to stay ahead of RV Retailer, LLC that is rapidly becoming the all time leader in RV Dealer consolidation / acquisitions.

Guarantee has always had good service but their coach prices are rediculous. When I lived in the nw I always gave them a shot when I purchased our newmars. On average they were a 100k higher than other dealers.

Yes 5 years ago they were very high priced. I’m sure they were nice and all after the sale , but they should be at their bottom line!
I think there’s a new dealer for Newmar in Oregon .. Beaver coach sales in Bend I believe is now a dealer. Wonder if the sale had anything to do with that.

I remember being at the fmca rally in Redmond Oregon while I was waiting for my LA to be built. While at the newmar booth one of guarantee sales manager over heard me talking to the newmar rep about my order. He asked why I didn’t give guarantee a chance. I said I did but you were 100k higher than anyone. The newmar rep just started laughing

Guaranty RV apparently has new owners

I had a very good service experience with Bish in Idaho Falls several years ago. I had a problem and was just passing through, called and they told me to bring it in and they would try to work us in. Within a half hour of our arrival they took it in the shop and an hour later fixed and on our way. Plus they were full and very busy but gladly worked us right in and kept us on schedule. Only one experience a few years ago but very promising to me.

It looks like the 2 newer Newmar dealers in the NW, Beaver, in Bend, OR and B. Young RV in Portland, OR & Woodland, WA only have the high end rigs in stock. They are both listed on the Newmar website. Interesting that Newmar has not updated their site for Spokane area--they list Freedom RV and Appleway RV--who bot Freedom.

We have an appointment at Guaranty to fix a slide this Thurs. I'll ask about Bish buying them.

Yes, we purchased our Newmar from them and they have been great all the way through. I certainly hope the service level remains stellar.

Guaranty- Newmar

Beaver Coach has Mountain Aire up, Guaranty (prior to Bish acquisition) retained DutchStar down. Sherry Rocked the Newmar warranty service at Guaranty.

And, she and her service crew were still “rocking” about three weeks ago when we were there.
