Guaranty RV's stellar Newmar customer service!
We are on an extended trip and scheduled a stop at Guaranty RV in Junction City, Oregon, to have a recall item done on our MADP 4047. This was to correct the faulty windshield wiper arm problem.
The day before our scheduled service appointment, we got word that another recall had been issued for our coach; a faulty slide controller that could retract the bedroom slide without warning and/or human intervention. I arranged to stop by and see Sherry Rouillard, the Newmar Service Manager at Guaranty, to discuss the new recall.
She looked up the new recall, checked her parts inventory and verified that a new controller was available, and agreed to add the second recall to the work list. I also asked if it would be possible to have Max-Air vent covers installed on two fans in the coach. Again, she agreed to add that to the work list.
We dropped the coach off at 8:45 am today and Sherry said she thought they would have everything completed by noon. The DW and I went out to breakfast and did a couple of errands. At 11:30 am, my cell phone rang and it was Ms. Rouillard telling me that the work was "finished early" and we could come over to pick up the coach. The two recall items had been completed, the vent covers had been installed and we were down the road before the promised "noon" time frame.
What more could you ask for? Stellar job, Sherry and the Guaranty RV service techs. Kudos to all.
TJ

Good to know Sherry is still there, and doing a great job. We found Guaranty RV in 2013 when we had some slide issues. I was very pleased with how they handled everything, including communication. So far, they are the best service dealer I have found. I didn't buy anything from Guaranty, but they treated me as if I were their best client.

I couldn’t agree more about Guaranty RV Service and more specifically their Newmar Customer Service Manager Sherry Rouillard. She has gone out of her way for us several times to take care of service issues on our coach. It’s a 1200 mile round trip for us to go there but so far we’ll worth the time and effort. The good news is that the Oregon Coast is one of our favorite places to visit.
Here’s a shot of Sherry and and her top service techs with their Mallon Miller service award. And,no, I do not work for Guaranty nor do I have any financial attachments to them. Just like how well we’ve been treated.

Love hearing these comments. We are going to Guaranty (we bought from Steinbring but are full timers currently nowhere near MN) next month to get a leather chair repaired and to fix an oopsie that happened when we bumped into a 5th wheel.

Don't forget to try the "Redneck Benedict" for breakfast in their little cafe...
I was impressed with their new campground... altho they have a 10 year old rule.

It's nice to hear something good about a dealer for a change. Thanks Jim!
