Hadley Air Leveling

Hello all my 2008 Essex is having issues with the Hadley air system. The Hadley control panel will turn off as soon as I engage the transmission, this also effects the ability to dump the tag. If I turn off then on the chassis power the system resets, allows me to air up then dies when the transmission engages.
Spartan says it is probably the Hadley/HWH interface module. I ordered a new one from Spartan but cannot seem to find where this module is located! Spartan says it is in the electric bay but it is not there.
Anyone have an idea where this module is located ?

Thanks

Spinn in the irv2 search engine came up with this info.
In PDR Johns MOD Section QT'S # 3 he has a write up on his install that may have your answer.

I'm pretty sure my system is the same as yours. I don't have any problems at the moment but would love it if you would elaborate more on this. Clearly you must have located the module? Photos? Details on what you had to do? Difficulty level?

Thank you for replying Jager I would be happy to elaborate, but first a favor. Could you send me a picture of your electric bay?
No!!! It ha still not been found! I have spent an hour in the phone with Newmar support and they cannot believe that it is not in the electronics bay. I have sent pictures and they (both Spartan and Newmar) are stumped.

The issue presented itself while I was parking the coach. I tried to dump the tag manually and it would not dump. I then noticed that the Hadley panel was not indicating anything. Spartan suggested cycling the coach power and that restarted the Hadley system but as soon as I engage the transmission it powers off.

Spartan said this is a known issue and the culprit is the interface module. They also indicated that it was a snap in replacement. I ordered the parts ($200). The instruction with the kit indicated that this was update and should take 0.5 hours to replace.

I have checked the bay, the firewall and have yet been able to find the old module!

Taking it to Cummins coachcare next week but it looks like our July plans may be delayed.

If you could send me a picture of your electric bay I would appreciate it. Stephenpinn@gmail.com

Thanks

Hi Steve,
Sorry to hear about that. I will be glad to send you the photo but to be sure I'm sending you what you need . . . by electric bay do you mean the exterior front bay that sits just below the drivers seat?

I wouldn't cancel my plans over just this . . . you can still level with the HWH system. Does this effect the air bags going down the road?

Thanks Jager, yes the outside compartment below the driver.
With the Hadley system not working the coach holds the level that I set before driving off. Last week I raised the coach to get out of a particularly steep dip. The coach did not lower. I had to stop, reset the coach electrics, set drive height and go!

I don't know if this is related but my fuel mileage dropped from 7 to 5.5 and I think it was because the coach was not at the proper ride height.

Thank you Jager I can still not find the connection. As the connector is close to the passage into the cab I will search that area in case it was pulled up into the hole. I have attached pictures of the document that came with the part. I also received all the Hadley user manuals and calibration manual from spartan if you would like them.

Steve - I didn't post the photos, alan1 did. I'm assuming they are of his 2016 King Aire. I see the cables he is showing but I don't think there is anything like that in my electrical bay. I will take some photos tonight and post them.

alan1 - Are those cables in the outside electrical bay just below the drivers seat?

Thanks again 007. PDR Johns install was for an aftermarket installation of HWH Active Air. What we are chasing is the module for Hadley Air Leveling which is a spartan option on k2 and k3 chassis
