Half bathroom toilet

Is this what it looks like behind your toilet in the half bathroom? Looks very unfinished.Click image for larger version

That's what mine looks like too. I don't think I would want it any different because I prefer to have full access in case I need to get to any of the connections. I have already needed this access as the fresh water fitting was slightly loose and it leaked when the water pressure was over 60psi.

You really have to bend over the back of the toilet to see all that opening...not a problem for me

Besides the water lines looks like yo have mounting bolts and maybe a fuse for macerate pump , you could cut a piece of plastic cutting board and use sealant to stick to the toilet back edge if you want, to stop access for some reason.
I had two toilets never notice the openings.

Ours is a sealed porcelain toilet just like in the house, no opening in the rear.

After having to remove a Tecma toilet from a friend's Aspire, that was mounted flush against the wall,I would highly prefer this installation.

Thanks everybody. Just wanted to make sure that they didn't forget to tile behind the toilet.

The Thetford Aria Deluxe II in our rig looks pretty much the same. There is a switch and emergency flush valve back there that we need to get to at times so it couldn't be covered.

On my coach the macerator is in the main bathroom, the half bath got the Sea Land model (Gravity flush).. Different Designs I guess. Page 2:

The Macerator toilet is very much like that one only Damon framed it in so you don't see it.
