Halogen lights

I just received the G4 Halogen bulbs I ordered from Ebay, I ordered from two suppliers, I ordered 10 *10 watt and by mistake I ordered 10 *20 watt. If I use the 20 watts in the fixtures that have 10 watt now will that be a fire hazard. I know these halogens get hot but I do not know if the 20 get much hotter that the 10's

Don't have an answer to your question but we burn out the ceiling lights quite often. Looks like.we.have matching coaches other then slight difference in color.

What you need to do is check the Watt rating of fixture if it says 10 watt than thats what you need.
The glass lens will be OK but plastic surround may melt from heat.
Check the warning in this PDF.

You are right about the burn outs, I just replaced 6 bulbs, they all went out at the same time, ???. I have ordered some LED's, hope they are better than the halogen. We just bought this coach, was a Monaco man, thought I would try Newmar, been satisfied so far but we have not taken a long trip yet, planning a Northwest trip, leaving in August.
