Has anyone done a kitchen overhaul or other major reno?

Have a 4080DP (99) and want to do a lot of work. I have had a lot of 'opinions' but none from anyone who has actually done this. would love to hear from someone who has actually done this (or paid to have it done) and get their thoughts please. We want to do the usual floors and window coverings, plus change the furniture around, but also replace the carpet ceiling and overhaul the bath area and kitchen.

thanks,

Mike

Welcome to the forum Mike.
If you look in the QT's links 1 & 2 plus the new number # 3 you will find links for replacing the carpets and a complete redo by a member.
In 1 & 2 I did some upgrades in my coach and remember metal studs are 16" on center.
Any more help needed just ask take you time and have fun.

thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Do you know in a '99 if the wall panels are glued to the studs or screwed? Any idea how the headliner is attached (i.e. is it going to be a major issue to replace it as we can't stand the carpeted ceiling)?

The walls are glued to metal studs and cabinets are screwed into the metal studs 16" on center.
The ceiling panels if you can get plastic strip out you maybe able to replace the fabric with new covering.
