Has anyone with a 2021 Newmar had a DEF Head Failure

I have a 2021 Dutchstar on Spartan chassis and with all the DEF head failures happening, was just wondering if the 2021 still have the DEF head failures or did they get the problem fixed. Have heard that with the Gen 6 head the problem no longer exist or is that just wishful thinking.

Was also wondering what the correct procedure for handling the DEF in the tank when you are going to be parked for 4 or 5 months

If you read the other DEF related threads here, you’ll find people reporting problems with Gen 7 DEF heads. This seems to be a Spartan (Shaw) problem as FL seems to have the issue resolved, although I’m still treating my Nov 2020 DEF head as fragile and acting accordingly.
