Have you cleaned your AC vents in the ceiling?
As the summer heats up I always have to remind myself that at least once a year we need to clean our AC ceiling filter if we want to get the most out of our AC system. With our older Essex it was a lot easier and quicker then the newer coaches with their decorative covers over the AC vents. Just did the LA yesterday and they were in need of cleaning. Newmar uses on all their model a system with 6 to 10 intake air filter vents and the same number discharge vents. There are no filters on discharge vents but there are filters on all intake vents and those are the ones that need to be replaced our cleaned.
There are clamps that hold the covers over the AC system so you will need to look under covers on passengers side to find these clamps. On the LA I went on top of bed to release the 2 clamps and cover hangs down. in the front it is much larger and heavier so it has 5 clamps that need to be released. Once cover is down you need to twist and pull down air vents that you see air filters on. What we did was picked up 10 filters from Newmar and when we take the dirty filters down we just replace them and put the cover back up. If you don't have a extra set of filters you will need to wash the them out and dry before putting back up. If you want to check if AC is working well you can get a infra red temp sensor and with on high speed fan the temp of air coming out should be 20 degrees or more colder then air going in.
