Having to push slider button twice before it goes out????

Hello - planning a trip in few weeks but worried about this slider. My large slider doesn't always go out after first push of button. We go through the message and then nothing happens. Push button again, it goes out. It comes in on first attempt so far. Any suggestions, recommendations?

Thank you
Floyd

I have noticed similar on mine. I find I have to do a more deliberate push (hold it a tad longer) for the system to recognize that I really want to move the slides. I don't however hear the warning voice either...which I think you are saying you hear the voice, then the slides don't move.

I am wondering if the switch itself is getting a little dirty. Another minor project.

Yes i hear the voice. Are you talking about the switch that you push to activate the slider?
Thanks
Floyd

After sitting for 3 or 4 months, mine does the same thing. It seems that the more I use the slides, the better they work.

This procedure helped a lot. Go to the control board and look at the current adjust pot (potentiometer.) Mark where the arrow is pointing. Turn the pot through its range of motion a couple of times. Then turn the pot so the the pointer is pointing back to it's original location.

Basically this is cleaning the internal parts so that it works properly.

I would shoot the slideout switch with a WD40 blast a few times while cycling the switch and making "the voice" go crazy a bit. Then, just clean up the residue WD40 and see if that helps a bit.

I carry this - https://www.amazon.com/CRC-Industrie...ectric+cleaner - CRC Contact Cleaner in my Electric bag -- I've found that with a 14 year old Coach this happens Often.

Best of Luck,
