Headboard on DS

Does anyone know how the headboard is attached? I want to change it but not sure how it's attached and do not want to damage the wall. Thank you!

On a 2011 DSDP, the headboard is attached with screws hidden under the buttons.

I never tried to remove the headboard in either of our two DSDP's, but knowing Newmar I think looking for hidden screws is good advice.

I think you will find it is just held up with double sided tape. Just pull it off, but I can't guarantee it won't damage the wall. But since you are replacing it that shouldn't be a problem.

99 DS , no bed room slide ; the headboard was held in by LONG screws hidden in the fabric folds ( 4 if memory serves ) .

Different years my vary , and in early tears the Dutch Star name was used on gas and diesel chassis.

Exactly what are you working on?

Hi - You don't say what year. If you are asking about a 2018 I can tell you. On older I'm sure it is different.
