Heat loop 2 light red

Lost heat last night after 12 hour drive. Front zone worked fine. Thats what kept me warm for the night. Rear zone no heat and had red light faults on the box next to furnace (heat loop 2). And zone fault was red above drive seat. I tried cutting all power to the bus. Didn’t reset it. Tried the bypass rocker switch. No help. Have I done enough trouble shooting to conclude I need a replacement pump like the one I replaced over the summer for the hot water (summer loop)?

Remove the cover to the silver box and find the blown 10 amp fuse for that zone. Swap that out and see if the light comes back on. If it does, the pump is shorted.

Bobby. Good call. The fuse is blown. Along with the replacement I put in. As u say. The pump It may be “shorted”. What does this tell me? Thanks in advance for the help.

Your blown loop 2 pump fuse indicates a bad pump motor requiring pump replacement. Shorted is just a term to describe a bad pump motor.

Get a new pump and bite the bullet and buy a spare. There are several posts on how to change them. It's a tight fit to get in there.

Do a search. There is an aftermarket pump that is much cheaper and better

People. Last question. I replaced my summer loop pump earlier this year. It was the After market pump. Are all three pumps the same?
