Heat strip?

I haven't had my coach very long and am having to use the heater today. I was using my 4 button thermostat and noticed that one of the modes was for heat strips. Do I have them? Is there a way to tell if I do or is it just a mode that's on the thermostat regardless?

What brand coach do you have? What model? What year?

You can add all that info in the signature line so you won't have to include it in every post.
It's in the User CP at the top left of the page.

You should have HEAT PUMP's in your AC's in QT's 1& 2 you will find this info on your AC's for a 2000 coach and heating of your coach. You have to visit the link because there is other info on your AC & HEATING.
All the links below in my signature have answers for your Newmar.
You need to go to top of the forum and the TSB link to find more info for your coach.
QT' # 3 will have more for your coach and info in SPK64 MOD Section for maintenance of your coach.
Enjoy the forum and safe travels.
