Heated floors...
Ok, so I am learning, slowly.
We looked at a few 2015 and 2016 DS today.
None had heated floors as far as the salesman could tell. "I thought" that was a standard feature on the DS, but now see it is an option.
Soooo, those of you with the nice tile floor, if you don't have heated floors, do you wish you did?
And those of you that do have heated floors, do you use/like them?

We have the electric heated floors, have never turned them on since we bought the rig last year. DW's health is keeping us from using the rig though.

Heated floor is the ONLY way to go, especially if you use the coach in temperatures under 55 degrees !!

As always, thank you!
I told the DW that I posted the question here and she just looked at me and said" you want heated floors, get them. We aren't spending that kind of $ and not getting what we want".
I guess I am surprised we went in at least 5 today without the feature.

Dealers probably don't see it as something that makes it more likely for them to sell a particular unit. It's not as visible as things such as an outside entertainment system, or a dishwasher.

For us, heated floors are a no brainer... Couldn't live with out them. Especially when you realize what a "Coach Heater" they are onto themselves!

Nothing like waking up to a cold morning and stepping on toasty warm tile floors. They also add warmth to the whole coach. We love our heated floors

Okay, just to mix it up a bit...
Don't have them, Didn't want them, Glad to save $5000
We lived our lives in cold New England and didn't have heated floors in the S&B, just got used to cool floors I guess.
Besides, $5000 buys a lot of warm Florida camping. We only use the heat about 20 to 30 days a year and usually only in the early morning.
That's what I like most about Newmar. Lots of options so you can build it to your own specific needs!
Good Luck

We bought our coach off the lot, and it had the heated floor option (which I believe was around 6k). I said, "we live in Florida. Why on earth did they order heated floors??"
Well, all I can say is it is WELL worth it. Those porcelain floor tiles get pretty cold even in low 60 deg temps to bare feet. Looking back, to me it's a no brainier as others have said. Also, they do a great job of heating the coach in all but the coldest temps.

Those campers that don't have heated floors either camp in tropical weather or love their fur lined slippers. Shoes off at the door please.

Heated floors was one of two options we deleted at the last minute, yes I would absolutely order it now.

TMan59, we have the heated floors and love them. My wife is sensitive to dry air (dries her skin out). We find we can keep the coach warm enough at night with only the floor heat and it doesn't seem to dry her out like running the Oasis heat or the heat pumps. We had heard that you can't have floor coverings on the tile when using the floor heat. When at Newmar recently, we asked about that and were told only to not use rubber backed floor coverings.
