Height of Ventana Baggage Doors?
Is it just my imagination or do the main baggage opening appear shorter then most in height?
Can't find a measurement on Newmar's website. I'm used to the big ole doors on my Revolution, but maybe in the photos it's just a trick of the eye?

They are all very short on the driver's side because they are mostly service doors. The doors on the passenger side are taller because they access the bulk of the storage. I think the full wall slide has a lot to do with the short doors. The bay with my pass thru sliding tray is also very short. You're really limited with storage height on that tray. They also have two large bolts hanging down that take another 1" of height away. I'll be trimming these next trip.

yeah cause I'm loving everything about the ventana, except we carry a lot of trade show gear, which is all in rubbermaid tubs. It all fits nicely in my rev, but I guess I will just have to actually try to load out a ventana to see if it will all fit.

also it seems like a pass through slide would be a pain. Not only does it eat space, it seems if you had anything on one side that was tall enough to hit the rail... no more sliding.

On my 40', there isn't much space on the slide tray as I stated, but the bay behind the slide out tray bay is very large with the Oasis unit at one end. The Oasis unit takes up about 25% of the bay. This leaves a good sized bay, with height, that can only be accessed from the passenger side.

Fleetwood's basement is taller, by a ways.
It took me a while to get all my tools to fit.
Yes on the sliding tray, mine can only be slid out one way without unloading. All the tall stuff is on the passenger side.

I guess part of the good news is there is a ton of space inside, and ya know actually, a lot of times we leave half our gear in the car anyway, usually only putting the inventory into the basement storage, which all neatly fits in two full size rubber made bins.

The bay I described that has the Oasis unit will hold at least 4 large tubs.
