So 1st and foremost TY to everyone in the forum group who has replied or given input. You are all GREAT. Your posts have helped a rookie out a lot. Hopefully one day I can help back to someone in need on the site. So we go on our 1st trip on Sept 30th for 14 days. My special needs daughter is so excited. South Dakota to see Mount Rushmore and the amazing things the area has to offer.
The entire fixing up of the RV has been a experiance to say the least.
All issues so far fixed other than problems with my leveling system which we will address when we return from our 1st trip before winter hits in Wis. So 1st question. I have a dual thermostat in my unit. 1 in the kitchen by the fridge and another in the bedroom. The old thermostat is below the one in the kitchen or so I think thats the old one. I think the dual 1 its a after market install. Any clues from anyone? Also does the 95 Kountry star have electric and LP heat? The newer looking thermostat has an option for both. It kicked on during a test but I don't thing the electric portion was working. Only got heat when the LP option was on. If there is electric as a option how long should it take to kick in? If some one knows how this system works please help. Also is there a water pump on and off switch for the internal water and if so where would it be and how does that system work? Lastly Does the LP portion of the water heater have an automatic pilot when used? Unfortunately the seller promised if I needed any help he would be there cause he didn't have time to show me things when we picked it up. Now he won't return texts or calls. Funny how when I was buying it he always picked up on the 1st few rings and now no longer will help me out with even simple operational questions. As always TY in advance to any fellow members who reply. God bless and stay safe.. JR
