Help Locate Threads Discussing Problems/Solutions with Slides on 2015 Dutch Star

Just experienced awful noises when retracted/extended the PS living room slide on my 2015 Dutch Star 4369. Have yet to thoroughly investigate, but would like to retrieve threads in recent past discussing problems/solutions for my model as well as other Newmar coaches. As I recall the threads talked of preventive steps that included tightening bolts/nuts on the slide motors & using blue Loctite. Many thanks for any help.

Just a thought - depending on the noise, it may be something caught either in the sides or under the rollers.

I have young children, and have found the remote control crammed in the side of the slide, usually discovering when extending the slide. Under the slide things like penny's and pens will make a terrible noise.

You can find any problem by using the Newmar search link in the information link.
Depending what you place in search block you may get something like this.
Most slide problems will be same for all year coach's most systems from 2016 back are the same design.

A good place to start.. Look at the bracket that the slide motor and gear box are mounted to. It’s made too light and will bend and the welds will tear. Just inside compartment door, ez to see. I had that issue. A few different fixes. Take a look.

redbarron73...I appreciate your thoughts. May well be what has happened.
Will investigate. Also thanks to others who have responded. Larry
