Help!!Need part 2016 Newmar London Aire

Hello, we have a 2016 600 hp Cummins isx Freightliner chassis London aire. We took the motorhome to Alaska in June and July and broke down in Fairbanks while on vacation. The electric fan clutch to cool the motor went out. There are no replacements available in the us. We had to leave the motorcoach in Alaska and have since been waiting on the part to be made. We just found out it will not be made anytime soon. We need to get the motorcoach home to mn from Alaska. [mod edit]

So not sure what an electric fan clutch looks like.I’ll try to look it up
What went wrong was it a bearing issue or the a clutch problem like an A/C compressor would have. Ours has belt turning a driveshaft to gear box on the clutch there are bolt holes tha would allow you to direct drive the fan if the clutch went bad. That being said there might be a work around to get it home.
Please post what is supposed to wrong with the clutch.

This company shows the part but doesn't say if it's in stock. You would have to call.

Found Kendrick website and looked at some pics. There looks like a set of holes in the base and the pull in side of the clutch. If they are or can be threaded make it direct drive and head for home
I have other off the wall ideas in my head based on what I would do in your shoes.
You don’t always have to take someone’s word on what it takes to get home
Hopefully it is a coil problem and not a bearing issue.Kendrion has office in GA HAS ANYONE LOOKED FOR A REBUILD KIT

We had a mechanic put the fan to work continuous(locked it in). It worked well for a couple hundred miles then it vibrated itself apart. So the new mechanic fused it together, but says it will vibrate and fall apart again as it's off balance. Would love to just try and get home but worried it could just fall apart at any m ok ment and then we would be even more stranded. Thanks all for ideas and help!!

so, what part vibrated apart? fan, fan housing or fan housing frame?

if it is the fan frame, just fyi, do you know if the fan housing frame was updated? freightliner had a recall on that

So here is a thought, maybe crazy! Electric radiator fans are pretty inexpensive. Lift the exterior side radiator cover (two screws) and stack four electric fans in there. Put a switch on them so you can turn them off when stopped. They may give you the airflow you need.

Ok if it was me being stuck my head would be popping off right now
I would be there removing the fan, clutch and mounts to retro fit electric fans to get home
I have installed lots of hyd coolers and air coolers and those fans move lots of air and are easy to get at Grainger and truck parts stores. This job might take a mobile or field heavy equipment mechanic to get you going again. These guys are much better at thinking outside the box,
There is always more than one way to get going again DONT GIVE UP

Volvo bus engines which is what Prevost uses use electric fans for their radiators. This would be expensive to do but could be a permanent fix for your LA with FL chassis. For a couple years many FL chassis on LA and Essex had fan drive broken brackets and wonder if this is still related to that issue. You need extra HD fans to cool a 600HP engine so some cheap replacement fans are not the answer.

I did this a few years ago on a tiffin that was stuck in Mississippi. The fan gear box failed and couldn't find parts quickly enough. Bought 2 large electric fans and put them on the radiator.

We had to take it easy on the climbs but we could drive 65 on most of the trip.

If I was doing climbs, I would probably put 2 more on the outside just to increase flow.

It's not pretty, but would get it home to be worked on.
