Help needed. First night in 2017 DS 4369 in RV Park. Cannot figure out why cable TV
We got here in Miss to avoid Irma's tail on the Fl panhandle. Connected up to what should be good cable, but cannot get any signal.
Any recommendations?

Have you set your tv to cable? Make sure tv booster is off

Make sure the amplifier for the over the air antenna is turned off. Then set the TV for cable in the settings and then do a scan

You need to find your over the air antenna booster and make sure it is in the off position. Ours is located on the wall next to the front passenger seat. Push the button and the green light should be off.
Then take your TV remote, go to menu, select channels, and make sure it is set on the "cable" setting for channels, and it will the ask if you want to auto scan. Hit the button to do that and let it go thru it's scan. It says it will take up to an hour, but is really only about 5 minutes. Whenever you change locations you need to do this to get the best reception for either cable or antenna. When using antenna TV reception make sure the booster is on and do the same thing in the "antenna" setting.

Our control does not have a menu button. That is what's so confusing.
When I select the input to TV ( vs BD/DVD, Sat, or SCREEN MIRRORING) it says signal cannot be decoded.
Last week, we had the choice to auto scan, but that was with the air antenna in ATL and we got 27 channels. Here we have one on the air antenna. I did switch it off to try and receive the cable.

Yes we found out the hard way you have to rescan at each park.

You may have the smart tv. Look for the home button. Once you hit it may take a moment but you will get a green looking screen. Scroll to the right til you get to settings. Hit enter or select and come down to channel input. Set it to cable hit enter then go to next level and do auto scan
